Hot-Air Airship Advertising

Airship advertising is familiar and very likeable

Hot air airship

Hot-air airships are steerable and an impressive alternative to conventional hot-air balloons. They combine the advantage of helium filled blimps and hot-air balloons.

A considerable difference to helium filled airships is, that a hot-air airship can be set up and dismantled in a very short time and then be transported in a trailer.

The result of a study carried out in 2003 is worth a look. Around 83% of those asked considered airship advertising to be "likeable". This proportion is exceeded only by the hot-air balloon, with 88%! (source: IT WORKS AMBIENT MEDIA STUDY 2004)

In addition, hot-air airship advertising attracts attention not only in the air but also in the media. This factor should not be under-estimated when the use of the airship is being planned.

Four main methods of use can be distinguished, which are aimed at different goals.

  • Advertising flights that are done mainly over large urban areas
  • Use for large sporting or cultural events
