Airship flying

Flying at an altitude of 150 to 300 metres, nothing will escape you and your camera. Admire the parliament building in Bern, the Kappell bridge (Kapellbrücke) in Lucerne or the "gold coast" on Lake Zurich from the air as we gently float over them.

Your memories of this unique experience will be with you for a long time.

We shall always plan three 30-minute flights with 3 passengers. Wherever possible you should also take the time to look at the flights where you will not be on board. This way, you can see or film the take-off and landing from a different viewpoint. And of course, don't miss the glass of bubbly after the landing.

Since this is only available from us starting in May 2011, the departure locations will be, at least initially, limited to a few regions, mainly in central Switzerland and the cities of Bern and Lucerne.

Are you a group of 9 people or more? Then we can come to you and take off from near your village or your company.

Ask your friends and relations, or perhaps you would like to organise a club event? This airship is, of course, a very special attraction for company events and celebrations. Ask us and we shall be happy to explain the possibilities to you.

Just as with flights in hot-air balloons, flights in airships are very dependent on the weather. For that reason we can, the same as with balloon flights, only make journeys when the weather is stable, without storms, with as little wind as possible and without thermal currents.

Airship flights

And although we can steer our airship and the motor helps to control the direction of flight, the same motto applies as with balloon flights: "The route is the destination".

It is possible that strong head- or sidewinds affect the chosen flightpath and the pilot may have to change the route slightly at short notice..
